Birthday Party

Another gray rainy morning. We needed to leave early for church to make our Sunday morning Bible study. It was so good to be back in church after missing both Sunday last week and Wednesday night.  Peoria was blessed to have Rick Kaisner visiting from Chicago and he had the morning service. David Obergfel had the afternoon service. Both should be listened to again as both were truly Spirit filled.  I always look forward to clicking on AC Central on Monday and Thursdays.
After church we went to Phil and Anna's house. The kids had fun playing together. Kensley and Taegan were playing pin the horn on the unicorn.
When Iris and Zion arrived Braelyn, Taegan and Kensley posed for a picture.
All the girls wanted a chance to hold baby Iris.
Iris is such a happy baby.
Anna and Stephanie were busy putting together the dinner for tonight.
Sarah and Nolan announced they are expecting a baby in early March and today had the gender reveal.
Sarah brought silly string and had anyone who wanted to shoot it out and the string was pink. She is having a girl and they have named her Eden Reign
We ate supper first before celebrating Zion's first birthday, Kensley's 4th birthday and Taegan's 6th birthday.  Zion was given a smash cake for her birthday and we all had to laugh when she was given that cake.

We all just had to laugh and actually video tape her reaction.
Next was the singing of the happy birthday song to Taegan and Kensley. They were each given cupcakes and told they needed to eat them like Zion ate hers, but these girls were much more ladylike.

Israel showed them how to do it.
The rest of the family enjoyed the cupcakes and ice cream. After the presents were opened they girls had fun playing with the new toys.

 We all enjoyed the afternoon.
Mark and I were the first to leave. I went over to mom's house to visit with Karin, Ruth and mom. The volley ball players showed up and played in the mud for a while then the rain started back up so they all drove over to Rachel's house.  We visited and played a short game of Mexican train and I lost big again. Oh well it is fun being together. Karin has a trail ride scheduled for tomorrow at Sandridge State park but with all this rain today, storms happening right now and rain predicted by tomorrow I'm not sure it is going to happen. She planned on taking Indy, Oksana, Tory and Hadassah.
