This morning a Facebook message was sent to us about Lila, Rhoda's dog. Enough people shared the post that thankfully someone saw what happened and responded. A lady named Heather wrote: 
On Wednesday my daughter and I were on Hanna city-Glasford black top.... Saw this dog.... An OSF (home health care van, younger man with black hair) stopped and picked the dog up.... Scared it would get hit.... Not sure how you can track down exact van/person but it might help ya .... Good luck 

This gives us hope that Lila will be found. Rhoda was contacted and she called OSF. They are going to try to track down the employee.
Emily came over before breakfast to excitedly tell us of Killian's show results. She entered him in English Pleasure which is walk, trot and canter and in Show Hack also walk trot and canter and won both classes.

She also entered him on a bunch of Western classes and he placed in most of them but Emily didn't bother taking any of those ribbons, she just wanted to bring the 2 blue ones home to prove this boy is the 'real deal'.  Emily's sister Megan also went to the show and had a blast. She was telling me when the announcer announced "next in the ring is Emily Ricketts riding Killian", she heard a bunch of people exclaim, "Killian is here" and there was a rush to the arena to watch. Mark my words this boy is going to be famous as long as Emily is showing him. They have a bond beyond the average pair. Killian was also entered in the speed classes. It was really funny to watch a Friesian barrel race. For some reason he didn't win, he didn't even place but he sure looked good cantering around those barrels all collected and fancied up. After breakfast Sheena and Whistler her colt were moved back over to our skinny paddock. The skinny paddock is Raven's old paddock and for the mares that are having trouble holding their weight while nursing. They are placed there where they are on a high calorie alfalfa bale and are given grain mixed with beet pulp 2 to 3 times a day. Below are a couple pictures of Whistler.

 Whistler is a typical Valiant son, sweet, loving, TALL, and big boned. He is just shy of 3 months old and yet has impressive height. Whistler's registration papers have been sent in to Friesian Heritage Horse Registry but not back yet. He is for sale for $4000.00 and what a competitor he is going to be.

He has very nice movement but also has the so desired want to please disposition which will allow him to move quickly up the levels of dressage and the bone to hold up for eventing.
Mark wants to put 2 new culverts in down by the road and needed help dragging them down. He used the golf cart while Emily used Karin's 4 wheeler and the job was accomplished.

 Evan and Valiant's paddocks were ready to scrape, Emily worked on Evan's while Mark did Valiant's. The manure was just piled up for later. We will be spreading it on the fields once it is well rotted.

Emily and Megan took Mika to Middle Grove and brought back Ella and Serenity. Ella is our last mare to foal for the year due the end of this month and Serenity still needs to be bred.
This evening Mark, mom and I drove to Logan's Steak House for dinner. Amy and Ken Koch joined us. We had a nice meal and even better fellowship coming back here for dessert. After our company left the stalls were cleaned and water tanks filled.
