New Puppy

Ella was moved today into the pond pasture. She wasn't happy to be moved away from Serenity but rain is predicted I don't want her giving birth in the mud. Serenity's paddock is dry now but there is not enough grass in there to keep the mud from happening if it does rain. She is due in 3 weeks but we are taking guesses of her delivery date. I'm guessing a week from today.

 Haddassah's filly and Whitney's filly were playing this morning. These 2 are 1 day apart and will be weaned together when they are 4 to 5 months old.

 Mark worked on mowing the trails this morning before the predicted rain. 

 Mike and Diane made it down to Gulf Shores before noon. Rhonda called from Colorado, they are having great weather. She was sitting by the pool when she called mom. A new bale was needed for the mare pasture. Rhoda called to tell me that Sarah Reinhard was bringing a puppy over and would I watch him until they can get here tonight. I guess the puppy was brought in to the Goose Ranch where Sarah works needing a home. Sarah knew Rhoda and Lee's puppy was lost to them and asked if they would be interested.  He is probably between 2 and 3 months old and a mix of Shih Tzu and Beagle.

 The tip of his tail must have been broken and healed folded down. 

He is friendly and curious about the place but was terrified of Darcy. Darcy came over, he started screaming and Darcy couldn't get away fast enough. She went into the kitchen and refused to come out until that noisy thing was picked up.
