Rehearsal

I barely made the walk today, for some reason thought it was Saturday and only realized it was only Friday at 7:23 am giving me exactly 2 minutes to get to the meeting place.
Today was the day to start preparing the food for the wedding. Rhoda and Emily met me at Sam's club and we filled 2 full carts of fresh fruit, rolls, brownies, cake, ice-cream and lots of other goodies.. Joan,  Diane, and Karen Hoffstetter arrived at the fellowship hall ready for work and within a couple hours we were done and ready to head home. Amazing how quick work goes when one has willing helpers.
Rhoda came home with me to move in a couple of new bales in the middle paddock then both of us showered and got ready for the rehearsal dinner for Nolan and Sarah. We were due back at the fellowship hall at 5:30 pm. Mom drove with us, the evening was pleasant sitting under the pavilion waiting for the rehearsal to start. Below are a few pictures of the evening.
Below Sarah and Nolan are getting instructions from Pastor Tom.
The groomsmen lined up on one side,
While the bridesmaids lined up on the other side.
Rehearsal went well. Ben and Tauyna's kids were funny but I'm not going to post the picture of them walking up the aisle as it will spoil a surprise. After the rehearsal we were all invited to the rehearsal dinner. Amanda and Dave, Nolan's parents, had reserved a banquet room at the Country Inn and Suites close by the fellowship hall. Mark and I sat next to Phil and Anna and right across from Rhoda and Lee.
After dinner David and Stephanie were the first to get up and talk a bit about Sarah and Nolan then shared a song with us.
The battery in the camera was dying but I was able to catch this one picture of Nolan's parents at the reception.
We would like to thank Amanda and Dave for putting on the dinner, decorating the room, the wonderful food and most of all the memories. Praying we have a nice day for the wedding tomorrow.
