Right after the walk I took off for Berean to start typing in the Bible requests. We had a stack of mail yesterday all read and sorted it just needed to be entered on the computer. By the time it was all finished we had 379 new Bible requests and only 350 stamps. Ellen was called to see if they could make more. Hopefully we can pick up a bunch tomorrow and get the mailing out.
I stopped at Phil and Anna's new house on the way home.
David and Philip were putting the metal roof on. It was so hot up there that Philip was wearing one of Mark's hats. I saw the hat and wondered why Mark was up on the roof instead of at work until I heard Phil's voice come out of the hat saying, "no pictures".
Megan was watching the girls at our place. Chuck delivered 3 loads of hay and Emily was putting it away as fast as it arrived. Each load holds 7 bales. I've asked for 2 more loads here for a total of 35 bales and 80 or 90 moved to the winter pasture at Middle Grove.
Ribbon was teased and is still in. She was covered today by Valiant. Sangria had a bloody spot on her side, it looked like rug burn so may have been a reaction to a weed. She was hosed down, Furizone applied, then fly sprayed all over and put back. Mike came this morning to remove the leaking automatic waterer and turned off the breaker for the barn. No one noticed until the vaulters arrived, there were no lights in the barn, no lights in the apartment and no internet. After checking all the breakers in the house, apartment and barn I remembered the service out by the paddocks and sure enough the main had been turned off. All was well once that was turned back on.
Mark drove to church tonight. Tim Roecker had the service, "Pay Attention!" was the theme.
