Funday Monday on Vacation

We had another beautiful sunrise this morning. The lake was smooth as glass, perfect for early morning wake boarding.
Phil and Anna got the speed boat out and brought it over for us to load up.
David went first and got some nice jumps before turning it over to Anna.

Saran went third but didn't wake board too long.

Philip went last and had David drive the boat back to the lake house.

He let go of the rope and just drifted in toward the dock.
Everyone was hungry for breakfast after that work out. After breakfast I turned my phone on and saw that Whitney had delivered this morning. The man from Idaho that was interested in her foal was sent a text to let him know that she had a filly along with a couple pictures Emily and Mike texted.

He was impressed and sent a deposit by paypal to reserve her. She will be marked sold as soon as I get home from vacation.  Next on the schedule was taking the pontoon boat and jet ski over to the sand bar for tubing. We were blessed with another beautiful day. Below are a few pictures of the ride out to the sand bar and our activities on the bar.

We came in for lunch then after lunch started the bag contests. Mark went walking and walked all the way around the lake this afternoon. This is not a small Illinois pond but a 'real' lake with a big island in the middle, big enough that there are houses built all over the island so this was quite a walk.
The jet ski needed to have gas added so David, Lee and Nolan took care of that job.
David and Stephanie cooked the meal tonight and it was another winner. They served chicken teriyaki, brown rice, broccoli then ice cream with lots of toppings for dessert. We are sure eating well this trip.
Below is the children's table as they are enjoying their icecream.

The big kids went for a walk to walk off all the calories of the meal. We had another wonderful memory making day.
