Karin came over for lunch then out into the sunshine we went to work Rosalie. The thermometer was reading right at 95 degrees so Rosalie was hosed down before and after her short workout.
This 2 year old continues to impress me. Her movement can't be faulted, she has a sweet disposition and is smart. When she learns something it sticks! Check out the air time on the picture below:
She has such lift she almost thinks she can fly. If it wasn't so hot today I would have video taped her but that will have to wait for a cooler day. She is such a gorgeous mare.
Diane picked us up for church tonight. We had a full van going but only 4 coming home. Not that we left anyone but some of the young group decided to go out to eat after church. Greg Rumbold had the service tonight.
When we walked out of church there were almost continues sheets of lightning inside the dark clouds. We could only hear a distant constant rumble of thunder, no crashes or booms. As soon as we got home Marika was brought inside and thankfully it was before the storm hit. I took these pictures of her this morning. She is looking pretty miserable but not yet ready to deliver.
She is now tucked in her dry stall with plenty of bedding, lots of hay and 2 buckets of water.
The rain has now joined the constant lightning. We have wind but no thunder. Flash flood warnings are going off on my phone. I'm thankful for the rain.Check out the pictures below of Jenni Moser's Raven son Palmer. He is out of a Trakehner mare but he sure looks more like his daddy than his mama.
Thanks Jenni for sending along the pictures.
