New Year's Eve Party

This blog is one day late for good reason. Yesterday was filled to the brim until 1:00 am this morning. We started yesterday leaving at 8:45 am to pick up Nancy at her home in Morton. Karin invited her to spend the night so she was excited. She wanted to help push mom in the wheel chair at church but had to be supervised so mom didn't knock anyone down.

Spark wore a special tie.
He and Randy have a competition but Randy must have known he was going to lose bigtime and didn't even show up at church. Why we heard he fled to Florida. We walked in to the afternoon service as the beautiful sound of a quartet was singing the last verse of There IS A God.
They were joined by Lucy and Koby before I got the phone on. Both Tims spoke today, Tim Roecker in the morning and Tim Funk in the afternoon. David spoke in Princeville in the afternoon. If you would like to see that sermon click HERE. After church I dropped Nancy off at mom's then headed home to get the roast ready for tonight. Rhoda and Sararh arrived to help get the barn cleaned from our airbnb guests. They had at least 60 people here for the last two days and we had lots of bedding to wash but they thoroughly enjoyed the place and left a 5 star review: It was very accommodating and Judith was very helpful and polite. The venue was clean and spacious, perfect for what we needed. She sent the next privately Thank you very much for hosting us!
While they were busy cleaning the barn Braelyn and Kensley were busy cleaning the foaling apartment. This was some of the older people from the big group. They needed more sleeping arrangements and were glad to book the apartment so they could have some peace and quiet during the days and nights. The guests started arriving by 5:00 pm. Below are the only pictures I thought to take of the evening.

Spark and Fedi did a short laser light show. Ruth's bouncy house was a big hit for the little ones. The prizes were fun for both kids and adults. The kids mostly played in the gym where their parents kept them busy with a epic whiffle ball game then came all kinds of different games including basket ball, dodge ball, pickle ball and volley ball. The older generation had fun with games in the dining room. The food for the dinner was delicious and plentiful. At midnight we had to stop the volleyball games for the countdown. Below is a video of the evening.
I didn't stay too long after that, just putting some of the food away and hauling the garbage to the dumpster. The bed felt wonderful and I didn't awake until 6:00 am. I'm heading over to mom's in a few minutes. Ruth is going to take Nancy home to Morton.
