I was with mom this morning but before heading over there I went to Sam's club to pick up food for the meal tomorrow. Mom and I had a quiet morning. When Karin got home I checked the horses then headed in to make lunch. Right after that the apartment booked and the guests were on their way. We had the heat set down to 55 and it was not going to have enough time to warm up but the guests were fine with that. It was snowing when they arrived and still they were excited to meet the horses. I took them on a golf cart ride in the snow to meet everyone. Mike and Diane went to Middle Grove to check on the herd and sent back this video:

Snowy
Mike put bales in from the horses at Middle Grove then sent back the pictures below:
Dancer and Titus left the bales and followed Mike all around.
It snowed pretty much all day but the thermometer was reading above freezing most of the day so not much stuck on the ground. We have a fire going in the wood burner and have been enjoying the heat on this damp cold day. We have discovered that the new mares are both chewing the boards. They have a very good round bale but must have picked up the habit at their last stable. Mike is going to run electric fence around it to stop their chewing. Crazy what bad habits stalled horses end up with .
