We lost electricity this morning which turned off our crockpots. Church also lost electricity, that is the kitchen area and the foyer. We had lights in the sanctuary but no air conditioning. Thankfully it was comfortable. Randy and Brenda were serving lunch and they were not able to serve coffee. When Tim announced that over the pulpit there was an actual groaning by some of us. BUT someone in Ruth's family knew his mom could not function without coffee, drove to Dunkin Donuts and bought 80 cups of coffee and got that delicious dark brew here just in time. I would mention his name but he is one of those kind of strange I T guys. Jessica and Clayton had their baby daughter Ruby Jane there and brought her over so great grandma could admire her along with all of us.

Picture Perfect Sunday
Gregg Rumbold had the morning message and Tim Roecker had the afternoon. I was thankful to be there to sit under the sound of the "WORD". After church I really needed to move a bale into the middle paddock and the short shelter paddock. Mark helped with that as the horses came right up when they saw the tractor coming.
Next the mares and foals were turned out to graze in the pasture behind Evan's paddock.
That pasture has the fence poles up but no boards or wires. The horses love grazing on the mowed grass and don't really go anywhere but back to their own paddock when they are done for a drink and to lounge in the shade.
Below is a short video of them right after turn out.
I needed to go in to keep working on Sunday dinner but stopped to take a picture of the flowers by our door.
After supper Berlica and Aubrey brought Missy and Cookie to the outdoor arena and let the grandchildren all have rides. Below are a few of the pictures.
I also took some video of the older girls riding by themselves. This was Rivers first time and a horse and each time they took her off she cried. This girls loves to ride. It was also Zeke's first time and he too loved riding. Aubrey and Berlica were left with the horses while the kids all went to the lake to swim.
Someone brought over a new boat.
Tonight was the first day for outdoor volley ball. That was fun to watch.
Rachel's grandson Brian was at the playground as was Ruth's grandson Dexter and my grandson Zeke.
They are not quite ready to play with each other but that will come soon enough.
If you would like to see the rest of the pictures from this evening click HERE. Below is a video of the horseback riding, some swimming, boating and a little bit of volley ball.
Mike took the stock trailer out to Middle Grove and dropped off Mika, Sangria and Dancer. They will get a vacation out there for a couple weeks. Dancer will need to come back for an ultrasound after Memorial weekend. The weather was just perfect this evening, today was one of those picture perfect Sundays.
