As In the Days of Noah

Indy's colt gave me a surprise this morning. He is only 8 months old but he thought he could cover Missy.  We have guests in the apartment and this is a family friendly farm that all of a sudden became x rated. I could not get her out of there fast enough. So one at a time the riding horses were taken back to the cabin field other than Dancer who is here so I can tell when she comes into season which should be in a few days. We have contracted to have her bred to a Friesian stallion not related to our two.  We had a mystery though. When I went over to the cabin field to shut the lower gate so I could bring the horses home the gate was already shut. This was pretty early in the morning and we didn't hear any cars go to Mike and Diane's house so not sure who opened it or who shut it.

Below 5 of the riding horses are back in the cabin field.
The man who bought Irish's colt was coming over this morning so Irish and the colt were brought into a stall, the colt haltered and then given a tying lesson. He did well.
Mark picked up Mackenson and they worked on trails in the morning then sharpened the mower blades in the afternoon. Below Mark is showing Mackenson how to sharpen the blade.
He did very well with that.
At 9:20 am I left for Aldi and picked up a small amount of groceries that cost over $100.00.  The man coming to look at Irish's colt was delayed until afternoon.  Irish and her colt were let out into the outdoor arena so I could get a few pictures and take a quick video of him.

The owner was impressed with him and named him CA$H.  Last year he bought Irish's colt and named that one Dollar. Since they are full siblings I thought it was a cute idea.  I left for mom's to relieve Ruth.  Austin, Anna's brother, arrived with the 7 salt blocks and the 50 pound bag of black oil sunflower seeds for mom's feeder about the same time Karin arrived. He is strong and carried the 50 pound bag in for us and put that in the container before following me over to the farm. He dropped the 50 pound salt blocks into each paddock. Dancer ignored hers.
Irish started licking right away.
Rosalie wandered around the shelter than started on hers.
At 6:00 pm we left for the fellowship hall to listen to Doyle Frauhiger who was giving the talk, As in the Days of Noah.
If you would like to listen it is in the video below.
