Mom and I only did one round of walk, quitting before 8:00 am so we would have time to pick up a dessert at Sam's Club before going to Berean. If you would like to read about our morning there click HERE. We stopped at the Bartonville post office to drop off the Bibles before heading home. The horses were checked on first. Oksana is content to stay with Evan, Galena's udder is no bigger, the weanlings were begging for attention.
Mom had a book for me to read so after lunch I sat on the patio and read it, finishing it just before Mark got home. The book was Hansi's New Life. I had read her first book: Hansi, the Girl who Loved the Swastika and the second book was the rest of the story. It was really good and I highly recommend it. Karin arrived with Magda, Berlica and Isaiah to go riding. Below are a few pictures.
Mark arrived home around 2:30 and went to work cutting down another tree.
The tree fell with a crash exactly where Mark wanted it to fall.
Mackenson, Braelyn, Taegan and Kensley came to help. Mark cut it up while the helpers stacked the logs in the skid steer bucket and the smaller branches in a pile.
Mark dragged some of the bigger logs over to Joan's place where it will be split.
Pax got to come with the girls and spent a lot of time chasing birds.
The next job the girls did was to take the dry wood from the back of the wood shed and pile it up in the front so the newer wood will be put in the back.
By working together they had that job done in about 12 minutes.

As payment they were each given $2.00 and taken to Dollar General to spend it. They had a ball picking out their prizes and can't wait to help grandpa again. It was a beautiful warm 70 degree day and we are thankful for this wonderful warm spell. We are getting a good jump on outside work by having these nice warm days.
Great! It sounds good. Thanks for sharing.. Tree Service
