Yesterday was spent getting everything ready for the Sceggel vacation and today Nolan, Eden and I are heading down to Gulf Shores. I will be driving in to Mobile to check out a Friesian stud in the area, just in case we want to keep Rosalie's foal if it is a filly. I'm very tempted as this foal will be related to both of our stallions but since selling Ayanna I really want to keep a filly. The Sceggel vacation starts in exactly a week but there are a bunch of us going down a week early. One of the reasons I'm going early is to watch 2 year old Eden while Nolan attends the closing of he and Sarah's condo at the Sands. We are hauling down a brand new air conditioner and furnace along with a trailer full of furniture. Yesterday we had sunshine for the first day in a long time. Galena was checked and no sign of any bad discharge. A bale was moved in with the weanlings, the packing was done including packing 2 coolers full of meat. When Nolan arrived that was put in the back of the truck while waiting for Phil to arrive with the heating/cooling equipment. We are pulling out in 9 minutes.
