Galena's placenta had not been delivered by morning so around 6:00 am I gave her another shot of Oxytocin and right after the walk went to work. The placenta was twisted and twisted until my arm muscles started cramping but thankfully after about 20 minutes it slid out. The stall was cleaned up and Galena taken out to the paddock. She was thankful to be out of the stall and went right into the shelter to start chomping down on hay. She likes the round bale better than the square bales. We grow the round and the squares were bought. I had to clean myself up then got the laundry started before heading to Sam's club where the supplies for the Sceggel vacation were purchased. $388.00 worth of supplies, laundry detergent, dishwashing soap, plastic spoons, forks, knives cups, paper plates and bowls, coffee and nuts. I also bought another bag of dog food so Emma doesn't run out while we are gone. A lot of the supplies were left in the car and tomorrow I will pack them into the truck for Nolan to pack into the trailer along with the furnace, aircondition, and furniture for their new condo in Gulf Shores. We had rain off and on all day here. The airbnb guests were sent a text that the boys should feel free to play in the indoor arena. This family has 5 boys and we all know how much energy boys have. They were glad for the suggestion. Mom and Diane went to church with us. Mike Kaisner had the message on the Acts Bible study. It was still raining on the way home. Everything here is WET. And now for some glad updates. Below is a picture of Zalena's filly by Evan and below that a video of this filly's 2 year old FULL sister.
