Amy and I spent the morning cleaning the condo. At 11:15 am the girls picked us up and we drove to LuLu's for an early lunch. The pictures below were taken there.
The traffic was horrible trying to get back to the condo. It seems everyone and their brother were all heading to the park for the shrimp festival. Everyone was dropped off at 1:00 pm then Taunya and Abe picked up and taken to the airport in Pensacola, Florida. Her plane was loading at 2:50 pm and we didn't arrive until 2:15 pm. Since we didn't hear that they missed the plane we are assuming they made it all the way home to Dallas Texas. Addyson, Jack and Jace were very excited to have their mom coming home as was Ben.
Amy and I walked to the Shrimp festival once I was home as Amy wanted to purchase some kettle corn to take home and I wanted a bag to take in the van for our trip home. That place was wall to wall people. Check out the picture below.
Joan, Diane and Mark all sent pictures from home today. Phil and Anna's girls were over at Joan's house playing dress-up with their cousins.
Mark moved a bale in for Evan and then split wood.
We should sure be in good shape this coming winter. Diane sent pictures of mom's roof getting done. Jozsef, Anni and Matt worked hard all day.
Diane reported it was very cold with 40-50 mph wind gusts. They spent the night at Middle Grove and she didn't have gloves. Mike was trying to move bales over and it was so cold the diesel tractor wouldn't start. It is hard to believe we will be leaving this hot humid Alabama and driving home to cold weather. It is still summer down here. We leave for home tomorrow afternoon. Tonight we went to Taunya's condo for games. Anna smeared us all!
