Sarah introduced us to her new dog Nikki. Nikki is an ACK registered Moyen Poodle. The Moyen Poodle is not a miniature and also not a standard but the inbetween size. Nikki will be bred to Chewy when she comes into season.
The day was so nice that we loaded up the kids and Israel's dog and hiked to a park that is just over a half mile from their house.
They played and played at this brand new park. We hiked back home and Sarah made lunch for everyone. I had to leave at that point as the Dr. Hoerr was coming for ultrasounds. If you would like to see the rest of the pictures click HERE.
I stopped at Sam's club to pick up something for the Berean meal and as soon as the groceries were put away went right to work moving bales. Abby and Lotus were teased and both showed but instead of covering them I decided to wait to see what Dr. Hoerr found on each of them. This was actually a mistake but may still be ok. Abby had rolled in the mud and needed to be hosed off then both mares stalled to wait. Dr. Hoerr didn't arrive until 5:10 pm and found Abby is at a 46 and the folicle was soft, she needed to be covered today or tomorrow morning. Lotus HAD just ovulated. I ran her right out to Evan's breeding stand, she showed and stood for him so hopefully the timing was perfect. At that point I had to leave for David and Stephanie's house as I was suppose to be there at 6:30 pm and made it there exactly at 6:30 pm. I admit to speeding a bit to make it. The evening was spent with Israel and Elisabet. It was too late and I was too tired to stay up. This morning hopefully Abby is still in and will be covered by Valiant as soon as it is light enough outside to see.
