Our Guests

I slept in until 6:00 am the as soon as it was light the horses were fed then the apartment cleaned. Kayla arrived a few minutes before 9:00 and came in to help make the beds in the apartment.  As soon as Karin arrived she and Magda went out to help Karin work horses.  Karin worked with Valiant while Magda rode Hadassah and Kayla rode Jenis.

 Karin switched with Magda to work with Hadassah a bit.

 Magda had fun riding Valiant.

 Next Kayla practiced her rising trot on Valiant and did very well.

 As soon as they finished Valiant was put back, Oksana brought out and those 3 went out on the trails.  Meanwhile the owner of Lisa had arrived. They were still visiting when the riders got back. The picture below they are just untacking after a fun successful ride. Hadassah led the entire way.

Lisa loaded up well and they left for their long 8 hour trip home.  About then our airbnb guests arrived. They were given the golf cart and on their way to the playground stopped at mom's where Karin had 2 of Rachel's Pug puppies so of course we had to stop and play with those adorable puppies.

 From there we went to Joan's to meet Tumnus the deer. He wasn't around so Joan called and he came running out of the woods.

 Joan gave us some apples to give him as a treat.

 Of course they had to get a couple selfies with him.

On the way home they stopped at the playground while I went back to the barn. We were suppose to have someone coming to see a foal but they never arrived. At 2:30 Jenis was taken out, Sara went right to work grooming her. 

 Sara's 8 year old daughter was thrilled to ride Jenis and did a very good job riding her.

 Sara rode her also.

 Jenis did so well she was taken to the outdoor arena for a little more challenge for Sara's daughter.

She was able to make Jenis walk all the way around the arena both directions and finished up with no hands!

 Before we untacked her Jenis climbed up on the pedestal for one more picture.

Our beautiful sunny day was giving way to rain clouds and right after the ride the sky started spitting at us.
