Monday Sunshine

What an amazing place Gulf Shores is on Oct 7th, 2019. Warm sunshine high 80s beautiful clear blue water and family really does make the trip. We relaxed around the pool resting up from our long drive down. The children loved that. Joan and her kids were glad to play with our little kids.

Around 1:00 pm we walked to Bahama Bob's for a late lunch. After lunch we hiked to Taunya's condo. Amy hiked over to Souvenir City to buy some of that tasty salt water taffy.

I went back to Gina's condo to read out of the sun. This evening Amy and I walked over to Taunya's condo where all the girls are staying, took the van to Walmart and picked up groceries.  For dinner tonight we bought salad mix and a rotisserie chicken with pumpkin cookies and ice cream for dessert.  The waves this morning were big and the red flags were flying. This afternoon the waves settling down.

Amy, Diane and I walked back. We are staying in Gary and Gina's condo, their very quiet with no crying babies condo. We are going to sleep well tonight.
