Cynthia, the owner of Olivia was due at 8:00 am to check out Olivia's progress and ride her today. I had to drive to Morton to pick up Zenia's travel paper work as she is leaving for California Monday or Tuesday then to Berean to drop off envelopes and pick up a few things. Cynthia arrived before I had to leave so I was able to snap a few shots of her riding Olivia.
This evening was the Berean Banquet in Washington, IL. We had a good crowd. The group below were the singing entertainment and they were quite good for a bunch of old guys. Actually they were VERY good. They sang a couple Simon and Garfunkle songs so melodious with perfect harmony it was just as good or better than the originals.
Our meal was tasty but the entertainment was even better. Mark Hoover spoke of his time in the Peoria County jail then his time in the prisons.
The main speaker for the evening was Tim Goeglein. He told us about his rise to the white house and then his fall. He told us amazing stories about President Bush. What an amazing man this president was and yet the press tried to portray him as a bumbling idiot.
After his speech Spark got up, said a few words, read one short letter than sat down. We sang Blessed Be the Tie for our closing hymn.
It was a wonderful evening. We really were blessed to be there and blessed to be a part of this ministry.
