3395 Stamps!

I had to quit the walk a bit early to stop at Meister's on the way to TEMCO to pick up 20,000 envelopes. At TEMCO we picked up 2 FULL boxes of mail. The car was stuffed so full there was hardly room for me. The first job we did at Berean was to have Justin count the stamps that were donated to Berean at the banquet Friday night. A HUGE thank you is in order to those who donated. There were 3395 first class stamps collected! That ought to last us a few weeks.
Marie put Justin and Timmy to work stamping envelopes for today's mail.
Below Jan, Joyce, Shirley, Chuck and Eva Jean are hard at work opening the mail.
While Jeanette, mom, Kathy and David are reading the hundreds of letters that came in. Kathy doesn't happen to be in the picture below, she brought lunch today and had stepped out to stir the casserole.

Once the letters are read, Kathy and David answer some of the problem letters, those that don't want KJV or have other requests.
Jeff stopped in for 5 boxes of Bibles for the Tazewell jail.
Below is the lunch Kathy brought. She served us a mouth watering delicious chicken casserole along with 2 toppings, a colorful vegetable plate, fruit and an amazing blueberry dessert.
After lunch came the big job of separating all the studies, stuffing envelopes and of course we ran out of the prepared boxes so had to fold studies. Below is a short video of our work.
I was suppose to stop at a couple stores today before going home but honestly I was just too tired even knowing there was no coffee in the house for tomorrow. I figured I could go beg coffee from some of the neighbors around here and I was right. This evening after dinner Philip and Anna's girls came over to play so we went to the playground. Mom came out to join us giving me the perfect opportunity to beg for coffee. Below are a few pictures of the evening.

Tonight is weaning night for Emma and her colt. Her colt and Indy's filly are stalled across the hall from Emma. I've been watching them on the stall camera, Indy's filly is content and is now laying down, the colt is still not sure why he can't get to his mama but none of them are neighing. We had been taking Emma out twice a day to grain her and leaving the colt with Indy's filly for the last week.
