Sunshine

Today was another busy day down at Meisters. We had 3 of us working non stop but couldn't finish the job, just too many studies and letters came in for processing. I'll have to go down on Thursday to try to finish all the undone work. Dan, Rhoda and Emily joined us for lunch today at Dennys. After lunch I had a few errands in Peoria so Emily and Rhoda came back to the farm and started working on fencing. They are making the paddock with the short shelter foal safe by lining the post and railing with cattle panels. They ran out of fencing supplies around 3:30 pm giving us enough daylight to get a few pictures of Killian and Hadassah, the 2 horses worked today. I think this is Hadassah's 3rd or 4th ride ever and she did amazing. While Emily was busy in the indoor arena with her, Rhoda had Killian outside in the snow. I had the camera and kept going from inside to outside trying to capture the beauty.

Hadassah was doing so well Rhoda and Emily decided to switch horses and go for a trail ride around the pond.

We were really thrilled with both horses today. Killian is now bowing and laying down under saddle almost 100% when asked and is so sensible on the trails. Hadassah still needs practice with steering but has never offered to buck or rear. She walk and trotted out willingly and even had a pretty nice canter.
The next 2 pictures I took a bit earlier in the day. We noticed Sarah's snowman was leaning this morning. This is what it looked like after work today.
I truly don't know what was stopping the head and middle section from falling off. Well by the time I came back from the pasture gravity won.
We had a good time at choir tonight. Tuesday is my second favorite day of the week.
