Unicorn Sophie

As the vet appointment was scheduled for 2:00pm today it was out to the farm, hook up the stock trailer and off to Middle Grove just hoping the horses would be in sight. Drive up, they hear the trailer and come running. A yearling colt came up first, after looking him over, I thought it was Aragon so haltered him, then walked over to Sophie. I have an appointment with Rachel Sauder for pictures on Monday morning and really want better pictures of him. After putting them both in the trailer I started looking at the colt again and realized I had the wrong colt! Valiant was unloaded, did a quick search found Aragon behind a round bale, haltered him, loaded him and started back.
Dropped Aragon off at the farm, got to Bridlewood, unloaded and started getting the burrs out of Sophie AGAIN when Mark came home for lunch. Checked my email and there is a message from someone wanting to look at Aragon, go through the coggins and find out Aragon needs a new one. Steven Marchal was called, he hooked his truck up to the living quarter Trailer and hauled Aragon over to Bridlewood for the trip to Hoerr Vet clinic.
Sophie's forlock was so full of burrs it made her look like a unicorn.

She was so well behaved letting me comb and pull them out, She must think this is part of a good grooming.

Sophie stood well for Dr. Hoerr and is still pregnant. Aragon was also good for the drawing of his blood. What nice horses we have.
