On the walk today Diane saw the bird below we were trying to figure out what kind. Mom didn't remember until breakfast that it was a downy woodpecker.
On the second round of the walk we have the beautiful picture of Jenis being worked by Steven.
After the walk Ruth and I had one of mom's wonderful breakfasts and stayed visiting so long she finally had to remind us she needed to leave for quilting.
Back to the farm and drive up to see Steven just finishing up the hole where we are attaching to Raven's waterer for the new paddock's waterer.
Karin, Steven, Ralph and I spent some time looking over the shelters and our feeding system. We think we came up with a better way for this winter. Steven is going to work out the details. We would like to TRY to conserve our hay somehow stopping the horses from wasting so much.
The truck and trailer were hooked up for Karin and pulled into the farm drive. My car was facing the truck and trailer and without remembering the gravel pile in front of the car, I jumped in my car to move it forward out of the way of the truck and trailer. The picture below shows the rest of the story, dumb, dumb, dumb. Good thing Karin and Steven were there to push it out.
Karin delivered Sophie to Bridlewood. Sophie is leaving tomorrow for her new home and I wanted to leave from Bridlewood instead of the Hanna City farm to save time.
