On our walk this morning we had crossed the dam and just getting ready to start back when we heard a dog yelping, screaming, howling. Emma had strayed just a little too close to Saber's line, he went after her and it sounded like she was being KILLED! Rachel had to sacrifice her body by throwing it down the dam to try to stop Saber. Emma escaped came running past us with her tail between her legs screaming and yelping all the way. Of course we would assume she would be covered in blood right?
Look closely, in the middle of the triangle there is ONE DROP of blood.
We think her voice probably hurts more than her wound from the screaming this dog can do.
She was taken home and both dogs put out in the front while I went to work. The Bibles were shipped and 2 credit applications were run, then home to clean the paddock here at Bridlewood. Cathie did it yesterday so only one large wheelbarrow to dump. Back in the house neither dog comes barking asking to be let in. I look out the study window and this is what they are doing.
They were sleeping so deep they didn't hear me come home, open the door and call. Some watch dogs these are!
