Work While the Sun Shines

It was down to Meisters today where there was much to do.
Philip is preparing the trailer for a load to go out on a job. On the loading dock are Bibles ready to be shipped. Thirty boxes were prepared today each stuffed with the lesson program for prisoners. The UPS truck comes daily to Meisters.

Phil has them stacked up ready to load.

A very messy shop once Philip is done designing and cutting the metal for the ducts.

Once work was left it was off to the farm. The sun is shining now but rain is predicted for tomorrow. Steven had moved in the 21 round bales dropped off, raked and watered the arena for the vaulting team due at 4:30pm. I really wanted to get the paddocks clean before the rain so Steven agreed to help with that. Raven's was started on first. He was hilarious, running and bucking while the skid steer was taken back and forth.

Mike drove up, saw Steven and I working hard, hooked up the scraper and started leveling where we are going to build the yearling stallion pen.

Lowes delivered the lumber and it was a very good thing Steven was at the farm when they came. They drove all the way to Rachel's house before he could catch them. He had to help them back all the way down the dam road, not an easy thing to do with a huge truck.
We kicked the horses out back and started working on the middle paddock, in 15 minutes that was done.

The last paddock was the young ones, moved them into the middle and spent another 20 minutes or so working on that before quitting for the day. The place is looking GREAT!
Karin called just now to give the good news that the vaulters were STANDING on Ribbon at the CANTER!!! She says there is still a long way to go but still they have such a good start.
