Early this morning even before the sun was up, I was on the way to the farm. Star was fed first, he was in his own paddock waiting patiently. The flash had to be used, it was still a bit dark but doesn't he look well fleshed out. He is gaining weight rapidly and looking good. It will soon be time to put him into work again. Star is extremely well trained taking many many pony clubbers to ratings and shows. If anyone is interested in leasing him, Steven will probably be looking for a home for him where he can be back to work teaching some LUCKY child soon. He is a very special horse.
Raven was next to be fed and then it was time to head over to the 'kids' as we call them.
Funny how they all line up waiting at their own bucket.
Today Emma got to come with me. She is always very excited to have the chance to go to the farm but I wouldn't have brought her if I knew in advance what was waiting.
Karin dropped off both of her dogs and our walk this morning had more dogs than people.
Ruth came running to join in and was desperately trying to keep Studly from jumping on her work clothes when I snapped this picture.
After the walk, Mike moved in a new bale for Raven, a bale in the middle paddock, one in the cabin field and one in the large side of the breeding shelter.
He would like Autumn, Mika, Jewel and Bunni moved to the cabin field for riding, Jenis, Ylse & Indy in the breeding shelter, Sanna will go back in with the herd in the middle paddock and he wants Paris in with the kids to teach them to be calm when heavy equipment goes by.
Dakota will be moved from Bridlewood to her place today and Chloe will be brought to Bridlewood.
Mark wants to start moving the manure pile this afternoon and I still need to run credit apps down at Meisters.
