Email from Kara

Hi Judy,
Just wanted to to give you an update on Raven's son Rook (who turned four last week). He has just finished ninety days of professional training and is already proving to be a willing, laid-back and trustworthy partner. People at our barn comment often on his beauty and his curious, sweet personality. He is very intelligent and learns new things easily. I hope to do lower level dressage, trails and combined driving with him in the future. I look forward to many years with him :) Thank you!
Kara Amero

Thank you Kara for the update. Kara and her cousin RACHEL brought their bay Morgan mare named Sprite down to our place to breed to Raven. Sprite had a beautiful black colt and now we get to see what this colt looks like at 4 years old!
We are so grateful for the updates and pictures, nice to know the foals by Raven when grown up are not only beautiful but SMART!
Sangria was hot packed twice today, but each time I tried to express the udder she tried to kick. We ended up sedating her and really working the udder over. By the time I finished only clear fluid was coming out. Hoerr Vet clinic was called to start her on Sulpha and they also recommended banimine as she is pretty sore which meant a trip to Morton to the vet clinic. A foal shot was also picked up for Izadora's colt. As there is a Walmart close to the clinic the vegetables were purchased for potluck tonight. Sure don't feel like going away, I feel like going to BED. A cup of coffee sounds good right about now.
