Bucking Raven

Something different happened this morning at feeding time. Raven is standing by the gate looking longingly at Izadora who must be coming into her foal heat. His breakfast is brought over and he still didn't come, he is called, then finally he comes galloping over and starts bucking in front of his feeder. I'm sure he is saying, "hurry, I must hurry or she will leave!" He is just so funny, full of expression and even though he can't speak his actions speak louder than words.
The $76.00 of grain purchased at TSC yesterday needed to be unloaded and dumped. Walker Sally's filly was checked over, her eye is healing well but all this took just a little more time than I had so it was back to running for the last few feedings. Even leaving early, somehow the time just flys by.
After the walk it was time to book the cruise then out to clean the paddock. I forgot how difficult it is to clean a paddock with a Raven baby along side. They want to taste the wheelbarrow, pick up the fork, see if it dumps easy and generally be a nuisance. Autumn is so curious to everything happening and wants to be right there with me where ever I go. It is such a beatuful day, cool crisp and sunny. Karin is coming over this afternoon to ride Autumn but she wants to ride bareback. We really need to get some updated pictures of her with a rider.
Now it is down to my real work.
