Greg and Heather Rumbold were the host, the guest were Janet & Alan Streitmatter, Dean & Holly Ramseyer, Ryan & Shari Menold, Randy & Brenda Kieser and Mark & I. Even though we were tired and dragging our feet about going we had a GREAT time. The food was fabulous the conversation interesting and the company the best.
We didn't leave for home until after 9:00pm and headed straight up to bed.
Yesterday I believe Steven moved in a round bale for the Friesian mares and got Ribbon, Aragon, and Paris wormed again but need to check to make sure. He is also taking care of the morning feeding today. Sangria was also given 35cc's of liquid sulpha and banimine paste. She had quite a day yesterday. She will be given the sulpha once a day until the bottle runs out.
Karin called to report she LOVES Ribbon. On Thursday Karin introduced the shoulder in to Ribbon, then Friday Ribbon REMEMBERED. Karin reports her canter is maybe 50% better from just that. Good thing Karin likes her, Mike sure doesn't.
We need to hire RACHEL to take some new pictures of Aragon, Independence, Ayanna, Caden and W Sally's filly before hauling any back out to Middle Grove. An email also came about Valiant wanting to know if we were negotiable in his price. They were told we don't want to sell him at this point. Maybe in a couple of years once we see how he turns out.
Mark is out shopping for floor tile for the Horsemeister office right now at Lowes, once he comes back he will help move a round bale in for Duke and Sangria here at Bridlewood. He just needs to open and shut the gate and keep them from running out when I'm bringing the bale in.
