Sanna
We got word this morning that Sanna lost her foal. It was a filly born 3 months too early. We are waiting for word from the vet but all are pretty devastated over this loss. Sue, Sanna's owner made sure she got her shots, she was on the best feed, and looking very good. They had just started her on pasture last week. Does anyone out there know if fescue could cause abortions when they have only been grazing a short time? In all of Sanna's history she has never aborted. Hopefully the vet can figure out why but if not we would sure like some input as to what could be done to insure it doesn't happen again.
