OK, WHAT is it with LILY? Another email came last night asking if I would sell her and this one offered $5000.00. My answer was NO, NO, and NO. I've changed the website for sale page along with her page to stop people from even offering. Last night we took her out to show the company her filly, she is such a sweet mare and her offspring are gorgeous! Her filly, Ayanna, needs more people handling her, as she was being held some of the company came over to pet her and she tried to get away. Ayanna is not even a month old and is so big, and strong, we need to keep on top of her handling. She is black, shiny and so beautiful, Steven thinks she is even nicer than Ciera and he is probably right. Raven's 2010 number is now 3 colts and 8 fillies with many still to foal. Funny only the first 3 were colts, maybe it has to do with the weather during which they are bred. Like cool produces boys and hot produces girls? The picture below is Rhoda having fun out in the field on Lily right after a 8 inch snow fall a couple of years ago.
Sophie was covered this morning during our walk. Diane and Rachel first needed to help me move Chloe away from the fence line. As we walked up we saw 2 back feet sticking out of the paddock. She had rolled too close to the fence line and was cast up against it. It really looked kind of funny.
