As the Wolf Pup sold so quickly I decided to use that money to purchase a newer bigger trailer and we feel like we hit the jack pot. Mark and I left just after 6:00 am for the small town of DeSoto, MO and arrived around 10:45 am to where a very nice lady was selling her camper she only used 5 times. After looking it over decided this was just what we need. The brand name is Coachman and it is the Catalina Summit Series 184 BHS.
This has a power jack, power awning, power slide, double bunks, and best of all a HUGE fridge.
The small fridge in the Wolf Pup was why I wanted to sell it and this camper has a very large fridge.
The picture below does not show how deep the fridge.
The trailer exterior is a total 23.1 feet long from bumper to the end of the jack with an interior of 18.4 feet. It is 90 inches wide and 10.1 feet tall. Dry weight is 4204 pounds so easily half ton towable. This camper has a large 44 gallon fresh water tank and a 30 gallon black water tank WITH a black water flush system making clean out easy. The power awning is extra large at 15 feet long. Wide enough to easily fit a picnic table under in case of rain or needing shade. I think we will really enjoy camping in this trailer.
It needs a good cleaning but today is not the day for that. IF you would like to see the rest of the pictures of this camper click HERE. By the time we got home the truck was on empty so as soon as the camper was unhooked that was taken to Casey's to fill with gas. Any guesses to how much this tank cost?
Phil stopped in to see it on his way to the barn. He is installing drywall today. Tomorrow I'll have to check out his progress.
I'm thankful for an uneventful trip and thankful to be home. My bed is going to feel wonderful tonight.
