No walk today, we didn't have a very nice day, lots of rain then snow mixed with rain. The weather was just nasty. I was with mom and Aunt Jinnie today so on the way over stopped at the barn to check out Phil's progress on the drywall. He had the big trailer backed into the gym and yesterday that was filled with drywall. Today at least one entire pile was gone and already hung.
Below is looking into the gym, that window is the bullet proof window that weighed in at a thousand pounds.
Below is the drywall for the supply closet and the pantry.
The drywall below is water resistant and that window is looking straight West for some beautiful sunsets.
Yesterday Karin found my old laptop hidden under mom's bed. I have no idea why mom would hide that laptop and how she even got it under her bed but thankful it was found. We used that today to watch the 2009 Zeug family reunion which Aunt Jinnie brought with her.
After watching mom and Aunt Jinnie decided we must hold another Zeug reunion so picked the date of Aug 17th - 20th 2023. Amy mark your calendar! We have already gotten a good response from Ohio, New Jersey, New York, Delaware and Utah. Joan finally sent the pictures of the dolphin adventure her children got to experience on the cruise last week. Check out that smile on Mackenson's face. He LOVED it. They got to ride the dolphins by holding on to the flippers belly to belly.
Faith said the most funny part was when the instructors told them how they trained the dolphins to swim like sharks side to side. All 3 also got to ride the boogie board while two dolphins pushed them in the water. We watched the video they went really fast.
Other than the dolphins Berlica's favorite part of the cruise was the kids club. She won prizes there.
This is a memory they will never forgot. I'm so thankful they got to go. It was really cold when I came home and I didn't want to go back outside in the rain that was also splattering down snow so played on the computer a bit while working on the Zeug reunion logistics of housing and meals. Thankfully we have a lot of family out here that immediately offered their houses, campers, basements and cabins.
