After the walk Galena's filly was taken outside to be with Jenis and Zalena loaded up for the trip to Middle Grove. The 2 step sisters (Zalena's and Rosaleigh's) were left in the barn. As soon as I arrived Zalena took off pretty much straight up the hill to find the herd which was at the top of the first hill. On this trip I needed to bring back Tori and Giselle. I admit to being confused on which mare was Tori and spent some time checking the mares over well. Indy, Oksana, Ayanna and Rosalie are easy to tell apart, Rosaleigh is still a bit thin from nursing her big filly but is gaining fast. Tatiana has a filly by her side so I only had to 3 to pick from: Roxanne, Tori and Lisa. It is amazing how alike these Friesian mares look. Lisa has never had a foal so her udder is flat and Roxanne and Tori's ears are different with more curve plus Roxanne's tail is full and thick where Tori lost half of her tail in 2017, it is growing back but I had to look to make sure which was which. She loaded up well and Giselle did too. As soon as I got back Giselle was put in a stall and Tori taken to the round pen to get some pictures for the lady interested in purchasing her. She really is a well built beautiful mare.
She was put in with Jenis and Giselle taken to the round pen as the people from Texas wanted to see pictures of her taken today. I didn't have anyone here to ask her to move and she was more interested in standing next to me so I ended up tying her so I could get far enough away to get the pictures. She has a scratch on her neck and shoulder that I wanted to make sure to point out.
They loved the pictures and are wiring the money tomorrow morning to purchase her. Hoerr vet clinic was called to let them know I would be bringing both Tori and Giselle in tomorrow morning for their Coggins test. Lotus was teased and is still in so covered by Evan. She should be out tomorrow.
I had just walked in the door when a booking came through for the apartment for tomorrow. Stephanie was quickly sent a text asking if she would be able to furnish cookies. I had to get busy and start cleaning. The sheets still needed to be changed from the last renter. I learned do NOT use those Tide pods when using the quick cycle. They didn't dissolve and left soap all over the sheets and pillow cases. They were taken down to the house to wash again as the apartment washer was being used for the towels. I was able to almost finish, still need to scrub the floors, before we needed to leave for church. Church was good, Mike Kaisner had the message reiterating Craig's message on Sunday of the 10 commandments and then going out as sheep among wolves before reading in Isaiah 44. Stephanie brought the cookies to church and on the way home mom said we needed to try them out. They really were delicious!
