Guests from Nebraska

We had guests arrive last night after 11:00 pm. They had car trouble on their way home from Ohio heading to Nebraska.  Even though they arrived very late they still wanted a chance to meet the horses and take a short ride on Jenis.  We don't really offer riding with our airbnb guests but this was different. I only had an hour and it poured rain most of the early morning dropping 3/4ths of an inch of rain.  The indoor arena was quickly sprayed down and each of the 3 adult children and their mother all got a chance to do a little bit on Jenis. She really is the best for taking care of beginner riders.

Each finished up with having Jenis stand on the pedestal which is always good for a picture. 

We had another wonderful day in church. Craig Stickling had the morning service and Tim Funk had the afternoon.  After church the Sunday dinner needed to be started and today we had a feast.  Karin grilled those two huge cowboy steaks and that was served with hot buttered mushrooms, sauteed onions, baked potatoes, salad with all the fixins, deviled eggs, sweet juicy water melon and for dessert mom made a fantastic yellow cake with cooked home made chocolate icing. After supper the older kids went out to play volleyball, the younger kids built forts in the barn and played on the round bales and some of us played games inside. Ron, Taunya's dad came over just as we were finishing up the games and we had a nice visit.  Brandee said she is very friendly and sweet and happens to be for sale for $6000.00. 

At that price I can't believe someone hasn't snatched her up. She is going to be very tall, she has the mega hair and really nice movement.  If interested in this filly just let me know and I'll give you her owner's contact information.
