They enjoyed their class but put their papers in the baby room before lunch and after the second service went back to grab their papers and those papers were gone. They were pretty disappointed to have lost them. Church was kind of long for them and both were pretty tired on the way home.
After church Mark was put to work burying carcasses. Four butchered deer carcasses to be exact. The Sauder's got 4 meaty doe, exactly what Rachel was praying for. It takes about 4 to fill their freezer for the year and Rachel has many delicious recipes to make this meat taste better than corn fed beef. The Sauder's are going to be feasting for a year by harvesting young tender venison. Below David and Logan are loading the carcasses into the skid steer bucket.
Mark took it over to bury in the manure pile.
The weanling paddock shelter was filled with curious foals all watching what Mark was doing.
Emma was too, she was very interested in where Mark was burying the bones. We would worry about her digging it up but her memory isn't that good. She buries bones all the time and hardly ever remembers where.
Mark covered those bones up with a mountain of manure.
We left right after that for Phil and Anna's house where all of the family was meeting for dinner. All except Iris and Lee. The cousins had such a good time playing.
This morning Anna pulled Jace's loose tooth and tonight Taunya pulled Taegan's loose tooth.
After dinner Ben, Nolan and Phil left for volley ball. The grandkids played downstairs, the ladies visited around the table and the men turned on the Bear game.
