The Annual Labor Day Picnic

We had a busy morning preparing for the picnic before heading out to church.  Another wonderful Sunday with two Spirit filled messages. After church we headed straight home to get everything done before the guests arrived. David and Israel are staying in the camper tonight so we wanted to get the electric and water hooked up for them. The guests moved out and that was given a quick once over. The guests left it very clean, I just needed to wash the bedding and towels. Mark took the garbage out.  The picnic started at 2:00 pm but the food wasn't served until 4:30 pm. Below are just a few pictures of the afternoon.

Rebekah and Brian arrived with their brand new 3 day old baby girl Blair River Schwind.
Emily and Mitchel arrived but that is not Emily's baby, that is Rhoda and Lee's baby, little 2 month old Iris.
If you would like to see the rest of the pictures from the picnic click HERE As soon as the the sun started down we migrated over to the fire for a praise singing and the cooking of Some-mores and bacon.  At dark Matthew Ricketts and Logan lit off fire works on the dam. They were VERY good and the reflection on the lake made them even better.  The volley ball games started back up and even now at 11:00 pm they are going strong.
A very nice 5 star review came in from Hayley and her group of 4 that came for a wedding. She writes: “Went to Hanna City for a wedding and Judith’s place was a nice addition to our great weekend! The horses on the property were beautiful, the apartment was very clean and spacious for the four of us, and there were excellent homemade cookies waiting for us when we arrived. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing to stay in the area.”
Just before I finished this post another booking came in for the apartment. That has been such an unexpected blessing.
