Yesterday as soon as I got home from the Berean office Mark and I left for St. Louis. He had a Trane meeting scheduled for Friday. We arrived, checked in the Westin Hotel and pretty much went straight to bed. The Westin Hotel is very elegant, big rooms, luxury bathrooms all good, EXCEPT they charge for internet and I am just too cheap to pay for that when the room was already expensive, PLUS they charged for parking, did not provide breakfast and to add insult to injury you had to pay to use the fridge. Well I'm not sure about the paying part to use the fridge but you had to request a special 'key' to get into it as it was stocked with terribly expensive snacks. Anni stayed at our house to take care of the dogs. Karin called to report a waterer leaking badly. She sent Mike a text so hopefully he was able to fix it. Karin wanted to know why we are having so much trouble with waterers. These were all installed the same year and are just plain wearing out. The good news she reported is that the horses are doing great, not just great, wonderfully great.
