When I returned Karin was just getting ready to work horses in the outdoor arena. Mark and I moved in a couple round bales. One in Eliza's paddock and one in Ribbon's paddock. Mike stopped in and fixed Valiant's waterer then turned the water off on Killian's as that one needed parts that will have to be ordered. The weather was just beautiful with sunshine and temps in the high 60s. What a nice break from winter.
Above and below Karin is working with Marika.
Above and below she is working with Anna.
Jesse Stickling arrived in SHORTS to ride Zalena. Just one week ago, last Saturday, Jesse brought out a group to go trail riding and it was a frigid 5 degrees, they rode with thick winter coats and ski goggles. Then today he shows up in shorts. He warmed Zalena up in the outdoor then took her on the trails all by herself. He reported she did great.
Indy was next for Karin, she is working with the flag above and canter below.
Above Ribbon was asked to carry the flag and below Karin is cantering her to make sure the center post will not interfere with her rider tomorrow.
Ayanna was the last horse ridden today, Karin is really enjoying this big mare. She is so much fun to ride with her big gaits and natural uphill spring.
She asked each horse to bow except Ribbon. No one wants Ribbon to bow, we would be afraid she wouldn't make it back up.

We had just put all the horses away when mom showed up with 3 guests so Marika was pulled back out.
Karin had one more job to do before heading in for lunch. She got the outdoor arena raked and ready for the scheduled dress rehearsal tomorrow.
When Mark got back from Sarah's he went to work on the solar system. He got the first two rows hooked up then Spark came over a bit later and they were able to put up another row of panels. After lunch it was time to prepare the demo scripts for the fair. They don't have to be in until the 24th but we are leaving for Florida on Monday. I was feeling the pressure to get them all finished. I'm still waiting on the music for the Friesian demo and stallion row.
This evening Peoria was blessed with testimonies. Oh it was wonderful to be there and hear the story that never gets old.
