Busy Wednesday

Emily's brother Philip arrived with a visitor from Junction, OH named Bud. Emily took the golf cart over to the cabin to bring back Jenis and Zalena for the trail ride and planned on using Ribbon for Bud. I snapped this picture as she was heading to the barn to tack up the mares.

Bud informed me he hadn't ridden for a while and as he is a large man we thought it better if we made this ride an easy ride. Ribbon was very well behaved for him even though her filly was galloping around her.

The vaulters started to arrive so Ribbon wasn't even untacked, just let loose to graze while Karin went over the show information for their next performance. The pictures below were taken this morning.

It was really hot and as Ribbon worked really hard, when they were finished Karin decided to take  her to the pond to cool off. 

I don't know who had a better time, the kids playing on Ribbon or Ribbon's filly splashing then laying down.

Emily and her company went out to eat to the little restaurant in Hanna City called The Hog Trough, and when she returned she took Darcy swimming also.
