Mark filled the tire on the golf cart so I could ride along on the walk. After perhaps doing too much for the last 2 days and not sleeping well because of general aches and pains in the leg, I thought instead of walking I'd ride.
It was a beautiful morning that promised to get hot and hot it did. It is too hot to sit outside comfortably so the training pages we wanted to add to the website were worked on. This sounds easy but by the time they were up and running hours had gone by and it was after 1:00pm. At least the time flew by instead of dragging on and on. After yesterday I came to the conclusion I'm not cut out to be a lady of leisure.
If interested in seeing the 4 new pages to the website just click on the horsemeister website to the right and scroll down under Valiant and Evan's picture. There is now a link to 4 of the trainers. Emily's page is also finished although technically we don't want ANY ONE to hire EMILY...she's OURS! Really she lives in Forrest, IL and we don't see her that often. Usually we give her a difficult horse or 2 each summer and get them back in the fall and they are just about perfect.
Mike will be taking Paris, Ella, Indy and Killian to Middle Grove tonight after work. He has the truck and trailer already hooked up, once home from work he can load and go. He and Diane are having lots of company out there and need all of the riding horses, that's all of the riding horses that aren't pregnant Friesians.
And now for a few more of those fabulous IL Horse Fair pictures taken by Rachel Sauder.
