We survived the day! It started early but not as early as last year. Thank goodness Steven was willing to go early to feed, water and clean stalls. We didn't really sleep in, we were pretty desperate for our morning drug, coffee. Karin, Amy and I all ended up down in the hotel breakfast nook by 6:30am. Amy decided to go to Menards to pick up a work light, as the stalls were so dark, but Steven got to Walmart first and picked up two clip on lights which brightened up the feed stall and the tack stall.
The practice went well, the horses were all well behaved, although Zalena lost her rider once, but it wasn't her fault. We didn't fire up the popcorn machine today, that will be done tomorrow. The performance was fine, we are tired and still have work to do for the fair, the DVD of the full horsecapade has to be burned and turned in tomorrow.
