10 Below & Falling

This morning at our house it is 10 below zero and much colder at the farm, Sandy Leman's car was reading 22 below when she got to Ruth's house to pick up Fede for the Lewiston Jail. Mom's thermometer was reading 17 below. It was only 8 below when we got up and it just keeps falling. How long will this bitter cold snap continue? I spent some time this morning trying to find the date of the last time we had above 32 degrees but gave up it is too depressing.
God really does have a sense of humor, all this talk of global warming, it is not just America caught in this grip of frozen wilderness, this is happening around the world. Our summer in 2009 was so short, there were only a couple of days that were in the 90s or high 80s. Our air conditioning sales were not very good but the heating and furnace sales have replaced the lost revenue even in this tough economy.
Today after church I'm going to drive the trailer out to the farm, park on the side of the road, lead Wanda and Valiant down to the trailer to haul them to Bridlewood. We can't wait any longer, Sanna is for sure to be delivered on Saturday and she must have Wanda weaned.
