Our Sunday

Sunday is such a blessed day. We love going to church and seeing everyone, it's like a big family reunion every week. Today we also had baptisms following the afternoon services and church was packed. Mark and I didn't stay for the dinner afterwards, the sun is shining and the weather is PERFECT.
We drove out to the farm, I pulled hair from the last of the four foals to send in with their registrations, then started removing the burrs from Ribbon while Mark worked on the tree line.
We spent a little more than an hour there working. Jamie and Ralph brought Jamie's mom over to meet us so they stayed and visited while I worked on Ribbon. Once home from the farm, Mark went to Kroger to pick up hamburger and buns for dinner while I went out to work on the paddock until dark. It is now starting to get dark around 5:00pm and I didn't want to waste ANY of this wonderful warm daylight inside cooking.
Mark cooked the hamburgers which we ate with all the trimmings, we added raw carrots, broccoli and cauliflower with french onion dip and that was our meal. DELICIOUS!
