Oh how I love Sunday, our day of worship, our day of rest, our day of sweet fellowship and our day of FREE LUNCH! Rachel's lunch was probably close to one of the best. Of course when one supplies home made Christmas cookies, buckeyes, along with Krispy Kreme donuts what could be better.
Willis had the morning service. He brought up that Jesus came to not just be our savior but our Ruler. We in America just don't quite get it, you know the part about bowing down to the king. Well if our Ruler is the Lord what ever HE asks, shouldn't we be willing to do? Afternoon service Craig was our speaker opening up to Proverbs 31. Of course all of us women cringe, how can we ever stack up to 'that women'? As Craig was reading, I'm listing the attributes of 'that women' thinking how many of those listed can I check off, not finding many when Craig says, "these should not be considered a list one can check off." Thank GOODNESS!
Peoria had ANOTHER engagement announcement. This time Geoff and Angie Ginzel announced the engagement of their daughter Samantha to Seth Keiser a brother from Princeville. What an exciting time for Peoria, 3 weddings coming up and all 3 will be held in Peoria. We are so happy for Samantha and Seth.
After church mom and I took Nancy out to Ruby Tuesdays. On Eva Jean's recommendation we both ordered the ribs, mom shared her's with Nancy and I took half of mine home for Mark. They really were delicious.
Jakob's owners arrived as we were heading to Morton to pick Nancy up. They are spending the night in the cabin and will leave for their long trip home early tomorrow morning.
