New Round Pen

Right after our walk this morning the trailer was backed into the indoor arena for easy loading.  Lisa was loaded first then Irish the Gypsy mare.  The next 2 loaded were Jewel and her colt then last 2 were Zalena and her filly.  I was able to drive into the field which made it easy for unloading.   These 6 horses were happy to be back and all took off running but would stop to graze then take off running again.
By the time I moved the truck and trailer and shut all the gates they were just starting to head up the hill to find the herd.

The herd was grazing under the trees but all came out from them to greet the new comers.

Below are 3 of the fatties, Oksana, Ayanna and Rosalie
Ayanna and Rosalie are both due in November.
The two pictures below are of Ivan, Tatiana's colt by Valiant born Aug 17th, 2018. He is a purebred Friesian registered and DNA'D with Friesian Heritage Horse and is for sale for $8000.00

The next two pictures are of his half sister Giselle, who is Roxanne's filly by Valiant.
Giselle is very pretty and going to be beautiful when full grown. She is also a purebred Friesian, registered and DNA'D with Friesian Heritage Horse and for sale for $8000.00
The two pictures below are of Isla, Madiera's filly by Valiant.
She is tall for a yearling. She was born May 16th, 2018 and is registered in the Warlander book of the Friesian Heritage Horse registry. She is for sale for $5000.00
We made arrangements with Gary Wessels to purchase 15 used round pen panels and 1 new 6 ft ride through gate. He was willing to deliver them right to the place we needed them and helped us put up the round pen. Below is Gary bringing them in his truck. Thankfully his truck had 4 wheel drive so he could transport them where they were needed.
Below we have just finished putting the round pen up. With Gary's help it took less than a half an hour.
If you are ever interested in buying a round pen, Gary is the person you would want to contact.
This round pen will be used to get better updated pictures of the foals for the website plus will really help with loading.  The salt blocks were moved in, the ride through gate was tied open and then we left. As soon as I got back I was needed at Meister's to work on MB land trust stuff. This evening we listened on line to Kaleb Beyer during Peoria's VBS.  As soon as that was over Star's udder was checked, the horses fed and now we are in for the night. Some VERY nice pictures were posted today of Ribbon's 2015 filly by Valiant. I still remember when this filly was born. She was actually born in the pond pasture. I was looking at the horses grazing across the pond, saw Ribbon laying down and by the time I got over there to check the filly was born. Below she is just 1 day old.
Check out how beautiful this filly turned out, 16.2 hands and she isn't done growing!

Her owner writes:  She is a 4 year old, 16.2hh with lovely movement and the kindest personality. She is smart and loves attention from people.
