I stayed way to late playing Mexican Train last night with Rhonda, Joan, Sarah, Diane, Ruth and mom and by the time the game was over it was just too late to want to sit down and write. Our day started out beautifully cool and clear. With walking at 7:00 am now instead of 7:25 I had time to almost stay the entire time before needing to leave for Berean. We had a lot of mail there and enough great volunteers to get everything done including getting a load of Bibles delivered and stacked. After Berean, plans and lists were made for our vacation coming up Saturday. There is just so much to do to make sure everything goes well both here and on vacation. Wicktoria was checked and she had a little waxing.
I'm praying she holds off until we get back on the 12th. She isn't due until the 17th but I'm beginning to believe that isn't going to happen. The stalls were cleaned and bags of bedding put down in each. The bags still need to be opened and spread. Our beautiful day became dark with clouds and a soon a stray storm blew up dumping a bit over a half inch of rain. What a wonderful gift. The fields were getting dry and now they are going to be growing again as will the yard grass. I will need to mow the yards before we leave or we will be coming home to a jungle.
When mom called to invite us all to game night I was glad to quit and head over early. Today some of those long lists will be filled with moving bales, moving mares, and buying the meat for our vacation.
