I'll Pay I've Got CASH

Rhoda came today to help with the weanlings and brought with her Israel and Elisabet. We were having wind from the south this morning so they got to go on a golf cart ride while we watched Rhoda bring all the weanlings into the stall barn.
Each weanling: EllaSkye, EasterBonnet, Dublin and Eli were taken into a stall, grained and haltered. As soon as they had finished their grain, EllaSkye, EasterBonnet and Eli were taken back out but Dublin was taken to the round pen. His owner wanted a few pictures of him before the transport company arrived.

The transport company thought they would be here by 11:00 am but by 11:10 am I needed to take both Israel and Elisabet into the house. The wind had turned and was now coming from the north and blowing HARD. Sarah had arrived with Zion and her 2 dogs Rizzy and Ari and offered to watch Israel and Elisabet while we loaded Dublin on the trailer. Dublin was perfect, waiting patiently while the trailer was made ready, then jumping in and walking quietly to the front, standing quietly while he was tied. Rhoda filled the hay bag with our hay and that was hung in front of Dublin. Even when the trailer pulled away he was quiet. We expected him to paw and call but he didn't. He probably thought he was going to back to Middle Grove. We decided to load up the 3 kids and go to the Hog Trough for lunch. Israel sat down, pulled 2 quarters and 1 penny out of his pocket and said, "I'll pay, I have cash."  Of course we burst out laughing. Not sure where he learned that from.
They don't have a child's menu at the Hog Trough but Israel knew exactly what he wanted and ordered a cheeseburger with chips.
Elisabet got chicken fingers and fries. That was a huge plateful, even more than Elisabet could eat.
We took a lot of food home for Emma, Ruby, Rizzy and Ari. When we got back to the house Elisabet was taken upstairs to a bedroom and put down for a nap, Israel was playing quietly by the fireplace and we were having fun with Zion. Sarah was showing us her horse shirt but Zion was very suspicious of the camera.
Sarah handed her off to Rhoda and then Zion started smiling for us.

She looks just like a ChinaDoll baby with her delicate features and full head of hair.
Karin arrived after work, the wind was howling, sustained about 26 miles per hour with wind gusts of 45 miles an hour. She said she thought a tornado must be coming so came down to the house. The dogs were thrilled to see her.
Even though it wasn't below freezing the wind made it miserable outside and it didn't help that the rain started up. We decided there would be no more working outside.  Sarah took Israel and Elisabet home as she lives closer to David and Stephanie so Rhoda could head home to Bloomington. This evening was the special Christmas message at the fellowship hall. It was a big group that came, the fellowship hall was full. The choir sang before the message. I can't put into words the gorgeous melodies filling the room with praises.
Greg Rumbold gave the message and then the Hallelujah Chorus sang. Dusty, the choir director invited all who wanted to come sing that with the choir. It was truly beautiful. It seemed no one wanted to leave and the visiting went on and on. That fellowship hall was full of fellowship tonight. Joan invited all the young group to her house for snacks after the service.
Today Pam, the owner of 2 Raven daughters sent some pictures of them. They are both out of Gypsy mares. Aren't they amazing! She uses both in her Magical World of Dancing Horses performances.

These two are half sisters as Raven is the sire of both of them but they are even closer related than half, their dams are mother and daughter. They aren't just beautiful they are also talented. Wow did Raven ever throw beautiful offspring.
