Christmas Program

Today was the Sunday school Christmas program at church today but first we had the absolute privilege of listening to Earl Ringger have the morning message. At one point he looked at his watch and mentioned that he was out of time and almost all of us involuntary shook our heads, "no!" We really didn't want him to stop. Earl has so much wisdom and knows the Bible well.
After lunch was the much anticipated Christmas program. I was quick to go into the sanctuary to get a front row seat, this was the first year one of my grandchildren was not only in the program but also had a piece to say.  Very discreetly the phone was taken out for a couple quick pictures. Joan's daughter Berlica is in the back row, 4th from the left, Spark and Rhonda's grand daughter Dafna is also in the back row 6th from the left.  Israel is in the front row, second from the right.
They all did their pieces very nice and really sang out the Baby Jesus Song and Sing Hosanna. Before the older kids came up for their songs Justin Ricketts, Emily's brother, read Luke 2: vs 1-7.
The only other group the phone was discreetly taken out and a picture taken was the Bible Class and Young Group. They sang the Cradle Hymn and one I'd never heard before called Child of God.
We heard the Christmas story through the pieces and songs. Bill Schick had the closing remarks.
After church Diane invited us all over to her house for potluck dinner and games. We had a great time. Mike sent the pictures from their horse back riding at Middle Grove yesterday. It was such a beautiful warm December day they had to take advantage of it by taking their grandchildren out riding. Ireyln rode Missy all by herself while Crew rode double, some of the time with Diane on Sally  and some of the time with Mike on Mika.
Behind the horses on the other side of the lake is the herd all spread out grazing in the picture above. Below they are galloping over the dam heading south.
In the last picture they are heading to the north pasture.
I had another phone call on Envy last night and again this afternoon. The person that wants to buy her wants her delivered to Royal Palm Beach Florida (1300 miles away) before Christmas. She was given some numbers of transport companies but none are available for that short of notice. She also tried U-Ship.com but no one has given her a bid. If anyone is heading that way from this part of the country with an empty spot in the trailer, she is willing to pay a fair price. Just shoot me an email or text, I can forward her phone number.
