Delay of Game

Just mom, Emily and I walked today in our winter coats again, the rest went garage saling. Surely there were treasures bought with pennies on the dollar. I tried to make an appointment today at Springfield to get the trailer inspected but that department is closed until the 13th of the month. Hopefully they won't be too backed up by the time they open again. It sure stinks living in the worst state of the country according to opinion polls. If it wasn't for Chicago politics the corruption in Illinois would probably be no worse than any other state.
Emily took Mike's truck to Meisters and borrowed the dump trailer to start hauling mulch for the work day next Saturday. She was able to get 2 big loads before taking the trailer back.
After she got home we took Sissy and her filly Raven's Heart out to the field for grazing. I took along the camera and snapped a few pictures for her owner.

She is such a pretty filly with her 4 high white stockings and the heart on her rump.
Lily's colt got a haltering and tying lesson today. He wasn't happy about it but submitted ok after a bit. I was able to put on and take off the halter a few times before we put him away.
After work Mark graded the driveways again and planted a tree. We now have a Japanese Maple in front of the patio. The mares were not teased today so that will need to be done early tomorrow. Sure hope Emma and Lily are out.
